Amita teaches at SQU, Oman. She is honoured as Ambassador of Poetry by World Poetry, Canada and is also pronounced as Representative of The Dylan Thomas Art Movement, Ímmages & Poesia by the founders, Italy. She teaches English and writes poetry and articles and reviews. She has given motivational workshops/talks in USA,Oman and India. Her research practices/workshops/academic papers have been presented in various countries including USA, Turkey, Malaysia, Egypt, Japan, Germany, Oman, Italy, the UK and India.
She has published her first book of poetry, 'Lavender Memories' 2018 launched at the Embassy of India, Muscat.
She has also edited two anthologies of poetry, 'World Poetry Peaceathon' and '' Impressions and Expressions'' available on Amazon.
