The Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre (GCRC)

The Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre (GCRC) (https://gcrc.carleton.ca) is based at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. One of GCRC’s major contributions to society and science is the development of the open-source Nunaliit Atlas Framework (http://nunaliit.org/), a platform that helps to tell stories and highlight relationships between different forms and sources of information, using maps as a central way to enable people to connect and interact with data.
